The mission of the KMD Foundation is to develop young minds through providing programs and services that help to educate not only the youth, but also their families and engage the communities that surround them for even greater success. KMD will provide mentoring, tutoring and life skill techniques for our youth.  The KMD Foundation believes that true success begins in the mind.  The overall goal of the KMD Foundation is to bridge the gap in our educational and economic sector.  The KMD Foundation will achieve these goals through:  educational development, youth development, community development and economic development.

KMD Foundation, Inc. (DBA) Keeping Minds Developing Foundation, Inc. established as a Missouri non-profit recognized as a Federal 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organizations in 2011. The executive director is not new to the problems our youth and young adult’s face.

He has a personal testimony of how the youth and young adult’s can beat their odds and become successful, with the support of the community. KMD Foundation, Inc. has partnered with local schools, faith-based organizations, businesses and health and social service agencies to provide programs and services. KMD will act as a Fiscal Agent providing Fiscal Sponsorship to business partners and corporate partners that meet our mission.

As a Fiscal Agent KMD Foundation Inc. will provide supportive services for the low to moderate income youth and young adult’s ages 5 to 21 in Jackson County. The organization will operate year-around. We will continuously review best practices to develop or adopt ways to improve our delivery of programs and services such as a 12 month tutoring/mentoring program for low to moderate income youth and young adult’s ages 5 to 21 in Jackson County, Missouri.

Support of other organizations, corporations, businesses and individuals will allow us to provide many supportive services for low to moderate income youth and young adult’s ages 5 to 21 in Jackson County. Our not for profit is the beacon of hope with a new unifying purpose.  Which consist of a moral assignment and commitment from our community leader’s and parent’s.

This will promote educational, and economic development creating a work force that will lead a global culture birthed by entrepreneur’s, and collegiate innovator’s. We welcome all with opportunities to partner with KMD, offering techniques that will enhance education on every imaginable level. Together we can offer the best tutoring, mentoring, and life skill techniques in our global industry.

With 2.5% of urban males entering college, a staggering 20% are entering the criminal justice system, and a large disproportionate percent are falling victim to a senseless epidemic of drugs, suicide, and  homicides.  A mind is the most wonderful thing to develop.
